What a claim-funded program looks like here
Most claim-funded rehab stalls at the same place: the hands-on treatment ends, the pain is better at rest, and the person still cannot do the thing their job actually requires. Nothing in the plan ever loaded them back up to it.
BerryFit runs the clinic and the gym as one service. Assessment and manual therapy happen at the Strathfield clinic; the strength work that gets you back to lifting, carrying or standing through a shift happens on the floor at Lidcombe, with the treating physiotherapist setting the loads. Where pain still outpaces what land-based work allows, the same program continues in the water at Ryde.
Starting a claim with us
- Get a referral from your nominated treating doctor. Treatment funded by a WorkCover or CTP claim needs one.
- Send us the referral along with your claim number and your insurer or case manager's details.
- We lodge the treatment request and wait for approval before your first session, so no one is guessing about cost.
- You are booked with a clinician who speaks your language, at whichever site suits the injury.
For referring GPs and case managers
Referrals can be emailed straight to berryfitsydney@gmail.com. We report back on objective measures rather than pain scores alone, and we will tell you plainly when a program has stopped producing change instead of extending it by default.
Where a patient is more comfortable being assessed in Korean, that is available at every stage — including the return-to-work conversation, which is usually the one that gets lost in translation.
